A one-act opera by Gian Carlo Menotti, tells the story of a poor, crippled shepherd boy named Amahl and his mother who are visited by the Three Kings on their way to Bethlehem. The opera explores themes of poverty, faith, generosity, and miracles, culminating in Amahl being healed of his disability.
