Richard Wagner’s Parsifal is a three act “sacred festival drama” centering on a “pure fool” who achieves redemtion through compassion. Parsifal recovers the Holy Spear from the magician Klingsor, heals the wounded Grail King Amfortas, and becomes the new guardian of the Holy Grail, fulfilling a mystical quest.

These will be selected scenes from the opera to enhance the worship service.
