Rossini’s Il barbiere di Siviglia is a comic opera where the wily barber Figaro helps Count Almaviva woo the young ward Rosina, who is being kept under lock and key by her greedy guardian, Dr. Bartolo. Through various disguises, trickery, and musical numbers, Almaviva and Rosina outwit Bartolo to marry for love, with the frantic, comedic action culminating in their happy union.

This will be a semi-staged concert performance of Rossini’s iconic comedy, in collaboration with the Horizon Ensemble.
